JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Tower Crane Operator
Location: Hinkley Point Power Station, Somerset - Southwest of Bristol (Lodgings Paid for)
Job Duration: Long term, Full-time
Hours: 55 to 77 hours a week (overtime paid accordingly)
PAY - (PAYE ONLY)
Basic hours- £20.16
Lodge, bonuses or travel allowance to be discussed during interview process.
Saturday - 1st 4 hours at time and half (£30.24). All other hours at double time (£40.32).
Sunday - All hours at double time (£40.32).
You MUST be a Operator with around 4 years experience in the role
Your typical daily tasks will consist of:
* Operate cranes and hoists
* Transfer loads to construction sites and discharge safely
* Bindloads to cranes
* Inspect equipment and machinery
* Keep and update maintenance and activity log
* Carry out basic repairs to machines
* Set up machinery based on complex manuals
* Coordinate with ground operators and interpret hand and verbal signals
* Follow safety guidelines and protocols
MUST HAVE:
(IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT DOCUMENTS YOU WILL NOT BEABLE TO GET ON THE JOB - PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT DOCUMENTS )
* A valid CPCS blue card with category A04 (MUSTBE AN ORIGINAL CITB CARD, any other card is accepted).
* Valid HS&E (Health & Safety, no longer than 3 years)
* Right to work documents (PASSPORT and share code if necessary)
* Proof of Address (Bank statement / Bills no older than 3 months)* NI Number (any official letter to prove)
* 5-year address history
* 3-year employment history
* Willing to relocate orlive near the power station (Accommodation & Travel will be paid for).
* Flexible and willing to work shift patterns andovertime in line with project requirements
* Able to pass a drug & alcohol and health test.
* At least 2 references fromprevious Crane Op. roles.
* Updated CV (we can help you with this!)
Non-essential:
* Other qualifications i.e. workingat height, manual handling etc
