We're on the lookout for a quality Managing Estimator, to work with one of our establishedclients on their Building Solutions division.

The Client is expanding fast and needs someone to take over their current Estimating team.

You will have 2 Senior estimators under you, so previous experience with management is critical.

The Contracts you'll be working on will be mainly Fit-out/Refurb/ & New build projects within the public sector; Hospitals, Schools, etc. The projects will be high volume, low value, ranging from 500k to 10M.



What we're looking for:

* Strong background of working as a Senior / Managing Estimator within a Facilities Management or Construction business.
* Previous experience managing teams.
* Must have ability to create and propose tenders (2 stage tenders).
* Demonstrable experience of Estimatingon refurbishment projects.
* Experience pricing large scale jobs in excess of £10m.
* Experience across sectors including Healthcare, Education and Government.



Your responsibilities:

* Ensures all estimates are produced in accordance with the estimating department procedures.
* Benchmarks key productivity and cost drivers by seeking feedback from live projects.* Develops knowledge management strategies and systems to support the business units' strategic
*
* Estimate and produce project and corporate documentation.
* Manage and present estimating / tendering information.
* Lead on knowledge sharing andlearning to develop an innovative team philosophy.
* Oversee the identification, management, reduction of unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.
* Oversee the management of the production of papers for use in tender reviews and adjudications.* Manage the production of accurate financial forecasts for use in setting target costs, ensuring
* deadlines are met.
* Maintain commercial, technical, legal and insurance knowledge of current market.
* Produce budget pricing in accordance with available information.
* Produce cash flows for tendering purposes when required.
* Lead the tender process on larger or more complex projects as and when required.
* Present tenders to clients, and to act as a company representative.
