Responsibilities
Ensures all estimates are produced in accordance with the estimating department procedures
Benchmarks key productivity and cost drivers by seeking feedback from live projects
Develops knowledge management strategies and systems to support thebusiness units' strategic vision
Estimate and produce project and corporate documentation
Manage and present estimating / tendering information
Lead on knowledge sharing and learning to develop an innovative team philosophy
Oversee the identification,management, reduction of unnecessary costs and inefficient activities
Oversee the management of the production of papers for use in tender reviews and adjudications
Manage the production of accurate financial forecasts for use in setting target costs, ensuring deadlines are met
Maintain commercial, technical, legal and insurance knowledge of current market
Produce budget pricing in accordance with available information
Produce cash flows for tendering purposes when required
Lead the tender process onlarger or more complex projects as and when required.
Present tenders to clients, and to act as a company representativeEssential Qualifications/Skills
Strong background of working as a Senior / Managing Estimator within a Facilities Management or Construction business.
Demonstrable experience of Estimating on refurbishment projects
Experience pricing large scale jobs in excess of £10m
Experience of managing teams
Experience across sectors including Healthcare, Education and Government
Industry: Building and Construction
Salary: £41000 - £50000 per annum
