A well established midlands based client is looking to recruit a managing quantity surveyor. This is one of a number of opportunities that we are partnering with firms to help fill top level appointments with the option to a director level role in the next 6-18 months. This is not a job for the faint hearted. It is a role for a steadfast, multi-talented, client facing driven and motivated candidate who wants a real part in a business.
The role will be based in the Midlands where the ideal candidate will work on real time full rounded estimation works for manufacturing of specialistproducts for the construction industry. They will drive business forward and create new streams of income. They will strengthenrelationships with existing clients and ensure the business continues thriving as it has done for the past number of years.
The role is suited to candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Degree qualified quantity surveying candidates
* Located in the Midlands
* Live in proximity to Offaly
* Happy to travel to Offaly on a daily basis
* Will lead a team of 50 staff
* Work with a team of surveying and estimation staff
* Client facing
* Create new streams of business
* Create accurate full rounded estimates for clients and the manufacturing floor
* Full EU driving licence
* Fluent English speaker
