About The Role
As an External Network Supervisor you will be responsible for monitoringthe onsite delivery of the Fibre and Civils infrastructure for a FTTP network deployment project.
The successful candidate will ensure that site operations are carried out to specification within Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental guidelines and regulations. You will be in charge of retrospectively checking the standard of work post build to ensure it meets the correctspecification.
Key Responsibilities
As Network Assessor you will working on a joint audit programme where you will need to prepare audit submissions addressing any gaps or issues identified for feedback to the audited team, in conjunction withthe Project Manager.
Liaising with Highways Authority, Police and Local Authorities. You will report escalations and ensuringcompliance to contractual clearance timescales. Ensure compliance to all quality and safety standards via in-progress and retrochecking regime. You will need to read and interpret client network schematics. In field coaching and identification of operative training and accreditation requirements.
What do we need from you?
You will need a minimum of 3 years' experience on BT/Openreach Fibre Networks and highly experienced in Telecoms Fibre Networks along with Quality Standards.
The Network Assessor needs to be a proactive, good communicator with demonstrable experience in this industry. Working on your own initiative and delivering against key objectives is a key aspect of the role. You will need to have good people management skills, toliaise effectively with the team and stakeholders with exceptional customer focus.
To be successful in this role as a NetworkAssessor, you will need a good understanding of legislation affecting the companies activities in the highway. Need to be competent in OTDR, CD & PMD testing and analysis.
NRSWA - Current qualification to supervisor standard.
