Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Reigate (Flexible Work from home scheme)

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 (Slightly negotiable)

Hours: 37.5 per week

We are looking for a procurement manager/strategic sourcing manager whose primary objective is to fully develop a strategic sourcing strategy and programme tosupport the delivery of our overarching and Supply Chain Strategy to ensure that the way we engage, contract, and interact withour supply chain fully links into and supports the direct delivery of our projects and business plan.

About The Team & Working Environment:

Team of 7 including the Head of procurement supply chain, 4 functional staff assisting in development and 3 administrators; working in the office 2-3 days per week. Rigid environment due tothe type of work involved in railways, highways so they are looking for a firm and detailed individual. They are looking for somebody who will be; reviewing spend agreements that are in place, will be dealing with construction materials, building merchants, bulk materials, pre cast units etc.



Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with the HoSC design, develop and implement the strategic sourcing strategy and programme with a focus on increasing the level of managed spend to deliver commercial benefit and value management across multiple direct and indirect categories of spend



Key focus on priority opportunities todelivery potential quick wins against existing and new core business categories of spend

Development of a digital benefit tracking and measurement system to track delivery against key targets set to measure the value delivered within executed categoryagreements across commercial, HSE, Quality and Sustainability efficiency's and benefits



Develop and embed strategic partnership relationships within the existing and new supply chain members that implement and are underpinned by key objectives, values, innovation, and consistent behaviours



Continual development of commercial arrangements and terms within our framework agreements that promote fairness and mutual benefits to ensure that Octavius are a key customer of choice within the supplychain



Management and understanding of direct and associated market and commodity risks to inform category management strategy approach and execution



Key Knowledge & Experience Necessary:

* Implementing strategic sourcing / categorymanagement strategies and systems
* Track record of improving supply chain metrics
* Data management and analysis
* Developing and expanding client relationships
* Negotiating key supply and commodity frameworks
* Planning and implementing business process change
* Knowledge of industry legislative, regulatory and standards environment
* Full competency and management skill levels in the use of and management of ERP systems (COINS, SAP or ORACLE)
* 5+ year's experience within mid/senior level procurement or supply management role
