QS - Immediate Start- Surrey
MCG Construction are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor in Surrey to join the commercial team on maintenance contracts. The suitable candidate will be degree qualified and have social housing experience.
Duties will include but are not limited to the below:
Ensuring all applications are submitted in line with the contractual terms
Ensuring sub-contractorpayments are made on time
Overseeing the commercial team
Assisting the commercial team
Monitoring all applications submitted and ensure any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriate
Pricing all jobs by their appropriate revenuecode to ensure that they are billed correctly
To produce and agree a monthly application
Monitoring and managing costs toensure profitability is maintained.
Requirements:
Degree qualified
Social Housing Experience
Experience Surveying, Pricing and Validating Subcontractor Quotations
Experience Measuring Works, Generating and Agreeing applications
Negotiation Skills
Full UK Driving Licence & Own Vehicle
