Job Title: Senior Permitting Officer

MCG Construction has a new opportunity for a qualified Senior Permitting Manager for a major contract in London.
The Role:
* Permit works in adherence with LoPs or TMA
* Manage day to day permit applications to ensure compliance across a range of measures
* Good understanding of Street Manager and other permitting systems suchas CPA or similar
* Maintain a thorough understanding of Highway Maintenance and associated activities and its impact on stakeholders.
* Monitoring and reporting of FPNs including trend analysis
* Manage stakeholder liaison for works where required* To maintain and promote relationships with CaP and London Boroughs
The Person:
* Knowledge of highways permittingis essential
* Knowledge of London Highway Network would be advantageous
* An understanding of NRSWA, TMA and LoPs
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Ability to co-ordinate and collaborate with all teams within the organisation
* Computer literate in Microsoft office and a variety of other company systems
* Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
* Respond to unplanned issues and react to replan and organise the plan of work
* An ability to give attention to detail and maintain accurate records
