Technical Associate will be doing:
You will be the technical lead on highways service innovation and continuous improvement. Responsible for the identification, assessment and successful delivery of commercially driven highways technical improvement projects from outset to closure, including compliance project management procedures and protocols. You will own the transformation and continuous improvement policies and procedures. Youwill ensure that customer service excellence is at the forefront of all your delivery activities.
What we're looking for in a Technical Associate:
* You must be qualified to degree level or equivalent with a professional qualification and membership of a professional institute relevant to any of the specialist areas, with a minimum of 5 years Post-Graduate Experience* 3+ years' experience in a highways or an allied profession
* Significant experience in the commercial application of highways innovation and continuous improvement projects
* Experience with quality control procedures and performance management
*Experience in programme and project management
* Profound knowledge of the planning process from a highways design engineeringperspective
* Significant experience in customer and stakeholder relationship management
* Good working knowledge of highways design principles and standard details
* Detailed understanding of the design process and interface with multiple disciplines
* Experienced in the use of bespoke and standard forms of contract including NEC term maintenance
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Project and AutoCAD
* Full driving licence or the ability to travel around the borough on a daily basis
