Concept IT are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to work for a friendly MSP based in Brierley Hill. My client provides abusy service desk to customers all over the UK and due to a sustained period of growth are looking to expand their IT team.Role:
Provide onsite IT technical support for customers, over the phone or on email. Ensuring the customers receive the highest level of support, working closely with the technical teams to investigate, troubleshoot and support IT infrastructure, hardware, and software across our customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
* To provide 1st & some 2nd line technical supportto a diverse array of clients via telephone and remote support solutions
* To take ownership of problems from logging, prioritising through to resolution
* To be proactive when dealing with user issues keeping the client updated on the status of their support query
* To log and action issues identified by proactive monitoring
* To support and maintain all levels of appropriatedocumentation
Person Specification
* Previous experience working in a role providing a high level of 2nd line & server, network infrastructure and desktop support
* Good knowledge of Active Directory
* Administration of Microsoft 365
* Some Server, Storage and Networking knowledge
* Previous experience in supporting remote clients in a Windows network environment
* Excellent telephone manner
* Exposure to Microsoft based server operating systems with emphasis on Windows Server 2012, 2016 & 2019
* Understanding of Firewalls & routers
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft based desktop operating system Windows 8/10* Experience of administering & troubleshooting Office 365
* VoIP Telephony Exposure
