Application Support Analyst
Location: Telford
Rate: circa £35,000 per annum
Concept Resourcing are currently recruiting for an Application Support Analyst on behalf of our client. Our client is a global leader in Digital Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support for business applications, including performing incident triage, impact analysis, troubleshooting complex issues, and root cause analysis for reported issues.
* Proactively communicate incident status and impact detailsto both partners and Management.
* Create and maintain application support procedures and documentation.
* Review application changes and perform production certification for acceptance of changes into production status and ensure that changes complywith support and documentation standards.
* Identify common issues/determine root cause, provide resolution, and seek continuous improvement.
* Provide on-call coverage and after hours support as needed; this role will require on-call work one per month, for one Hours are flexible but will be based on team needs.
Skills and experience:
* Experience prioritizing andtriaging support requests and Incidence response
* Proven experience partnering with business users on resolving longer term issues
* Experience supporting a range of Windows and Linux based systems
* Experience supporting web scale systems using containerization and other web scale technologies
* Experience of scripting numerous technology's (PowerShell, Bash, Go, Python)* Experience with SQL Scripting
* Understanding of ITIL principles, ITIL 4 Certified
