Overview:
My client is anNHS Trust based in Merseyside. They are currently seeking an Associate Director of Digital to provide strategic technology leadership and visioning to the Trust.
The post holder will lead the Trust in the planning and implementation of enterprise levelinformation systems which support business and clinical operations and underpin the organisation's overall business strategy.Key Responsibilities:
The Associate Director of Digital will be accountable for the following digital services within the Trust:
* Clinical Systems (covering Electronic Patient Record and IT Training)
* End User Support (covering service desk andsecond line support)
* Network and Infrastructure
* Applications and Interface
* Cyber Security
* IT Programmes
* Business Change
Job role:
* Leading on the planning, development and delivery of an effective Digital Strategy
* Responsibility for the Digital, EPR and IT portfolio and accountable for the management of its constituent programmes and projects
* Managing IT applications and systems across all areas and activities within the Trust
* Developing and manage the implementationof effective and reliable modernised IT infrastructures
* Assessing and managing risk within the Trusts IM&T provision* Management of all IT budgets, revenue, capital and non-recurring expenditure ensuring a balance position in accordance with the Trust's Financial Regulations
* Fulfilling the role of the Trust's Deputy SIRO (Senior Information Risk Owner)
* Support the Executive Director of Finance with their board responsibility for IT as required]
* Liaise with the Education and TrainingDepartment
* Budget and resource management
* Provide strategic service development
