Our client, A leading Managed Service Provider are looking to recruit multiple Azure Architects into the business. The Azure Architect will be responsible for architect solutions across Azure and internal Hybrid and Private Clouds, working with customers to help them with the transition to Public Cloud.
Azure Architect Roles and Responsibilities:
* Experience facing off to a range of stakeholders with strong communication and negotiation skills.
* You should be adaptable, able to work across teams, functions, and applications; you should beenthusiastic, self-motivated and customer focused.
* Ability to review a complex Azure estate and provide assurance on current landscape.
Owns and produces Azure Solution Blueprint & Azure Solution Design
* Progress and gain agreement of the Solution Blueprint & Solution Design with architecture governance.
* Drive development and deployment of customer workloads into consuming the Azure cloud platform
* Produce Low-Level designs across Azure and our own Private Cloud platforms ensuring designs are accurate and regularly updated and reviewed in accordance with the target design
* Provide technical input to Pre-Sales opportunities (RFI/RFP), Statement of Works and High-Level Designs where required
* Assist in the creation of design standards, policies, and processes to improve working efficiency's by use of Reference Architecture standards and templates
AzureArchitect skill background:
* 5+ years of experience working on Azure platform
* Current Microsoft Azure Technical Architect certification (Desirable)
* Knowledge and relevant project experience with regards to:
* Cloud Adoption framework
* Azure Network design (Hub and spoke)
* High Availability and Disaster Recovery design
* Azure Migrate
* Azure Scalability & Resilience patterns
* Azure Storage options
* Azure App services
* Azure Backup and Site Recovery options
* Azure Landing Zones
* Azure Security Design
* Azure Integration Services i.e., Event hubs and API management
* Azure Data Governance
* Terraform and ARM Templates
* Knowledge of Containers
* Expert proficiency at pricing Azure environment total cost ofownership.
* Knowledge and experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD automation using tools such as Azure DevOps, Git.
* Knowledge and experience of best practice for monitoring and alerting within Azure including the use of Log Analytics and Application Insights
