Concept Resourcing are currently recruiting for an Azure Support Engineer.
This role is responsible for the implementation and technical support of core technologies especially Microsoft Azure cloudbased services to ensure the solution within a specified domain meet the needs of the business. The role demands hands on experience on the Azure Cloud components to support the business. The role holder will work closely with the Service director as wellas other Tech and business stakeholders to advise on and support the Microsoft Cloud based solutions.
Key Responsibilities1. Provides Technical support and guidance in delivering solutions/services, resolving issues, implementing change requests inAzure data services components (Machine learning, DataLake Analytics, Data Factory, USQL, VSTS, Azure storage accounts, R Analytics, Data catalogue, Azure Analysis Services)
2. Conduct proof of concepts in Azure data services components (e.g Machine learning, R Analytics, Data factory etc) to showcase tool functionalities in order to add value to our business
3. Handling incidents, Problems, Requests,Changes etc for the applications developed in Azure cloud based components (Machine learning, DataLake Analytics, Data Factory, USQL, VSTS, Azure storage accounts, R Analytics, Data catalogue, Azure Analysis Services,Power BI)4. Keep relevant technical documentation up to date (as agreed with IT Asset Owner) in support of the lifecycle plan and for audits/reviews.
5. Support delivery team to transition new applications into production in Azure Cloud Platform
6. Ensure the technical delivery of any new application is fully compliant with the organisation's IT and Regulatory standards, leveraging the full capabilities of the software to meet the business needs
7. Anticipate, understand, troubleshoot and fix problems using technical expertise and problem solving skills to restore service, identify root cause and implement the fixes in solutions built based on Microsoft Azure components
8. Develop expertise on evolving next generation platform capabilities e.g. Cognitiveservices, AI etc and drive innovation
9. Proactively support IT Asset Owner to develop and deliver continuous improvement ofapplications portfolio to enhance user productivity, increase system reliability and reduce the total cost of ownership
10.Participate and drive service review meetings with the business, weekly service meetings e.g. Problem management, Change advisory board meetings etc
Experience required -
* Good proven handson experience in Azure data services components Primary onMachine learning, DataLake Analytics, Data Factory, USQL, VSTS, Azure storage accounts, R Analytics, Data catalogue, Azure Analysis Services)
* Should be able to conduct the proof of concepts to showcase Azure data services (Machine learning, DataLake Analytics, Data Factory, USQL, VSTS, Azure storage accounts, R Analytics, Data catalogue, Azure Analysis Services) capabilities* Previous experience in application management, operations, and/or support including knowledge and experience of Incident, Problem ,Change Management and Service Transition
* Good knowledge in ITIL Support Processes
* Good Analytical and problem solving skills
