The Business

Our Client is amulti-disciplinary engineering services provider specialising in Built Environment, Production Process and Digitalisation.
With 16 locations across the UK, 1000+ employees, 60+ Blue Chip customers and turnover approaching GBP 200m this is a very well funded business with a clear aspiration for substantial business growth over the next five years.
The business has recently made the decision to implement a single, Group wide ERP system which will drive efficiency across all of its operating areas and provide a platform for the future.

The Role

This role is to lead the organisational change efforts associated with the 18-month deployment of the IFS ERP system; this includes new CRM and HR systems. The Business Change Manager has a crucial role inensuring smooth adoption of the ERP solution, driving process improvements, and managing stakeholder engagement throughout the implementation life cycle. The Change Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, businessanalysts, solution architects, and subject matter experts, to drive business transformation.
Whilst there is a potential fora hybrid working regime, the successful applicant must be prepared to spend time on operational sites around the UK.


Responsibilities

* Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for the ERP implementation, addressing the people, process, and technology aspects of the transformation.
* Identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including leadership team, business managers, and end-users. Map the benefits of the implementation for the key stakeholders.
* Build strong relationships and ensure their active participation and support throughout the change process.
* Conductassessments to identify the potential impacts of the ERP implementation on business processes, organisational structure, job roles, and employee experience. Develop mitigation strategies and action plans to address anticipated challenges.
* Develop anddeliver clear and effective communication plans to inform stakeholders about the ERP implementation, its benefits, and the associated changes.
* Support training manager in designing and planning training programs to ensure end-users are proficient in utilising the new ERP system and processes.
* Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to analyse existing businessprocesses, identify pain points and inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements aligned with the capabilities of the ERPsystem.
* Assess the organisation's readiness for change, identify readiness gaps, and develop strategies to address them. Foster a culture of adoption and change-readiness by providing support, guidance, and resources to help individuals and teams navigate the transition successfully.
* Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the ERP implementation. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities, providing regularreports to project stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives by capturing lessons learned from the waves of ERP implementation, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and implementing corrective actions to enhance future change management efforts.


Essential Skills, Qualification and Experience

* Proven experience (8-10 years) as a Change Manager orsimilar role in ERP implementation projects.
* Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
* Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and their impact on business processes and organisational structure.
* Experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, and training in a change management context.
* Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
* Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is highly desirable.
