Description:
On behalf of a global IT Services organisation, I am looking for a Change Analyst to join a growing team, on a contract basis.
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (business hours)
Hybrid working: 2 days per week in Peterborough
IR35 Status: Inside
The Role:
* You will be responsible for the administration of changes and releases, maintainingan accurate record of all related activity
* Accountable for the review of Change Requests, checking for compliance against defined processes and running the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for progression or rejection of the change.
* Internal process development and improvement to maintain best practices and enable delivery of the required service levels
* Oversee the creationand submission of Post Implementation Reviews with appropriate follow on actions
* Identify improvement opportunities to reduce failed and unauthorised changes and attain a high level of successful completion
Skills / Experience required:
* You will hold ITIL v4 Foundation or able to demonstrate a good understanding of Service Management methodologies and best practice* Demonstrate innovative thinking, in terms of service quality and improvements
* Previously used an ITSM tool and a documentrepository (e.g. SharePoint)
* Ability to produce analytical and performance reporting for customer consumption
* An understanding of all of the Service Delivery departmental operations, systems, processes and structure
* Previous experience in owning or contributing to key business processes
* Experience of running, or being present at, a Change Advisory Board meeting
*Excellent organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
