Concept Resourcing are looking for a Consulting Data Architect to join a Central Government client based in London/Bristol OR Manchester.
This is an initial 6 month contract with a possible extension. The role is INSIDE IR35. Day rates between £675-725 per day, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate must have the following experience;
* Have significant consulting experience and understand how to influence senior management, particularly when defining data strategies and principles
* Can communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences to gain understanding of their business challenges
*Understand requirements of different metadata schemas, modelling techniques and data standards
* Understanding of GDPR implications, eg the right to be forgotten and when this applies, as well as the 7 GDPR principles and how these affect usage and design
* Have experience delivering scalable and secure user-focused services that deliver measurable transformation
* Are ableto drive through an agenda (strategic and tactical)
* Understand how to prioritise work in a fast, customer centric, environment
* Ability to see opportunities for improvement and an interest in forming government data best practices, standards and policies
* Understand how systems are designed, upgraded, managed, de-commissioned and archived in compliance with data best practices
* Able to read, understand and critique (in order to improve) data design documentation
* Understanding of agile environments, continual delivery techniques and devops cultures and how this compares with Domain Driven Design
* Can quickly absorb differing strategies, remaining flexible in thinking
