Description:
- Grow data communities including theData Architecture, API and Data Sharing Practitioners communities and make connections with other communities by setting up andfacilitating conversations and events, ensuring all involved have good visibility of work across DS&S
- Provide advice and guidance to people across DS&S to understand the value communities can bring to delivering their work and to make the most of those opportunities
- Develop the data communities to ensure a diverse group of people feel welcome, respected and supported
- Link up with external communities and events to help them understand both the work that Data Strategy and Standards and the relevant communities are doing, and the opportunities there are to work with us. This includes Data Connect
- Make sure that what we learn is documented and circulated in order to establish standards and contribute back to wider technical communities, for example through writing and circulating blogs, newsletters etc
- Help data community members find opportunities todevelop in their careers
- Keep your technical knowledge on data up to date and decide how best to stay close to the work that is happening within the community
- Support your counterparts in other parts of government and build an active community that everyone in data across government can belong to and participate in
