Description:
My client are a large prestigious central government organisation, they are seeking x5 Data Scientists on a contract basis initiallyfor 6 months with possible extension and permanent job opportunities (37 hours per week - 5 days). The role is paying £20.47 per hour for the duration of the contract, INSIDE IR35.
This role will be hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week required within closest office based in Newport, Hampshire, Darlington, Manchester & Edinburgh.
Qualifications
* Relevant Masters degree in Data Science/Data Engineering/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
Essential Experience
* Knowledge of programming languages Python, Pyspark (Desirable) and R/RStudio.
* Excellent communicational skills both written and verbally.
* Ability tocollaborate across the business.
* Agile/Waterfall practices experience.
* Knowledge of Big Data.
* Apache Spark (Desirable)
* Unit Testing experience/knowledge.
* Ability to produce code.
* Knowledge of reproducible pipelines.
