Concept are currently recruiting for a Deskside Support Engineer commutable to both Hemel Hempstead and Malmesbury
The purpose of this role is to provide technical support for the End User Technology environment involving desktop computing and corporate IT services.
Package:
* £160 per daypayable via umbrella company (InsideIR35)
* Mileage claimable after 50 miles @0.30ppm
* 3 months initial contract
* Mondayto Friday
* Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on-site in Hemel Hempstead
* Tuesday/Thursday on-site in Malmesbury
* 9am-5.30pm*
* Site based working
The role
* Hardware and Software installations
* Remote hands
* Installation and configuration
The candidate
* At least 2 years' experience working on installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, and printers
* Able to follow pre-written scripts
* Experience in delivering deskside support
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Excellent Time management and Organisational skills.
* A good theoretical and practical approach to diagnosing problems.
* Ability to work independently on a wide range of products.
* Customer support skills
* Good all-round understanding of hardware maintenance/break-fix
This contract has been deemed an inside IR35 role, therefore you will need to be paid via umbrella company. The above rates are the umbrella company rates subject to weekly fee and deductions.
