Description:

My client are a prestigious government organisation with offices in Hampshireand South Wales. They're seeking a Development Analyst with a degree/MSc in a highly numerate subject (e.g. Maths, Economics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science).

The role is paying £24.79 per hour (37 hours p/w) which is equivalent to a salary of £36,838 per annum.

This is an initial 6 month contract role (extensions / permanent offers likely). The organisation are working completely remotely at present, with a return to the office in a hybrid capacity likely in the Spring of 2022.

The chosencandidate can decide which office to be based from - either South Wales or Hampshire

TYPICAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead and manage investigations into business processes, information systems, functions and data structures using various techniques.
* Review existing system capabilities and develop business requirements for system development.
* Define improvements to business processes, ensuring the end-to-end process is considered.
* Understand and communicate the project scope and work to assure the overall goal is maintained
* Shape and challenge business priorities and ways of working through collaboration withbusiness and architecture teams.
* Elicit requirements using appropriate techniques, taking into account the nature of changeand established practices.
* Promote a culture of inclusion, assurance and engagement for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Supporting effective collaboration across the organisation

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

* Excellent team-working skills.* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Competent in Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail
*Experience of building and maintaining strong, collaborative and productive relationships to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels and the confidence to challenge when appropriate.
* Strong Python programming skills (R will be considered)
