Description:
My client are a prestigious government organisation, with offices in Newport (South Wales) and Fareham (Hampshire).
They are seeking an Economic Analyst for an initial 6 month contract - which may well end up moving permanent. The role is paying £24.79 per hour (equivalent to a salary of £36,838 per annum).
The position is full time (37 hours per week) - with flexi time (7am -7pm). The role can be done predominantly remotely, with some office presence needed for important meetings.
The position involves responsibility for managing research and development workstreams and deliveringtechnical or analytical work.
The role requires engagement with internal and external stakeholders to understand the requirements, collate the evidence in order to deliver the research or method under investigation. The role requires the production oftechnical papers and/or articles for stakeholders and/or customers.
Person Specification:
* Experience of applying appropriate analytical tools and methods to provide high quality quantitative and qualitative analysis.
* Able to identify information gaps, weaknesses and anomalies in own analysis/research and that of others.
* Able to act independently in the applicationof specialist knowledge to arrive at evidenced conclusions, options and/or recommendations
* Able to communicate to technicaland nontechnical audiences through both written, visual and verbal presentation, including use of effective communication methods for team management and engagement, where applicable.
* Able to apply basic approaches to plan, monitor and deliver own work to a high quality in a timely manner; identifying risks and issues as appropriate
* Experience of working collaboratively with customers/stakeholders to understand their requirements and shape delivery
