Description:
I have an urgent requirement for an experienced EUC Engineer to provide dedicated request support of IT Services to a large secure site, on behalf of a national IT Managed Services Provider.
This will be based on-site, 5 days per week (Monday-Friday), in Hertfordshire, for 3-6 Months.

The Role:
* You will be responsible for IT hardware and software requests covering desktop moves , additions and changes through to removal , disposal or retirement of IT equipment
* Assisting with 2nd Line fault resolution for software, hardware, and video conferencing equipment
* Taking receipt of new goods, packing and/or unpacking IT equipment, installation and testing, transport to user's workplace and formal verification of user acceptance
* Providing Second Line support for software and hardware fault resolution
* Analysis of IT Requests proposals; ensuring correct prioritisation andapprovals are in place
* Re-loading/configuring of software applications and images
* Update of all incidents and requestsin the call handling system
* Monitor & support Video Conferencing equipment
* Ensure every effort is made to meet the SLA commitments
Skills / Experience required:
* Strong experience with IT support, specifically at 2nd Line
* proven experience of successfully installing and removing IT equipment
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a customer-centric approach
* Strong analytical, creative problem solving and planning skills to achieve results
* Hold a current BPSS clearance, or be eligible to obtain this level of clearancePlease apply online with your CV.
