An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a pivotal leadership role in the Analysis Function which supports the work of analysts across government.
My client are a large government body, and they're seeking a evaluation advisor to develop and deliver a programme of support, guidance and consultancy on effective evaluation to analysts and policy professionals.
The position will be predominatly remote, which occasion trips into the office (either Fareham, Hampshire or Newport, South Wales). The position is paying £24.79 per hour (37 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities* Lead the development of an evaluation consultancy and best practice team, prioritising work and identifying the opportunitiesfor improvements.
* Collaborate with evaluation experts across government to ensure expertise and best practice is shared andused.
* Work with evaluation practitioners to ensure the Government Evaluation Guidelines Magenta Book is used, understood andadhered to.
* Provide sound, timely advice on technical issues regarding impact evaluation, embedding theory of change in departments, professional standards, policies and guidance
* Engage with other key groups and teams in the evaluation landscape to ensure a joined up and coherent offer across government.
* Develop products and services to enable government analysts and policy professionals to deliver and integrate better policy evaluation.
