Description:
Concept resourcing are currently recruiting for a Field Support Engineer (server/IT) to cover the Bristol and Surrounding Areas.
The purpose of this role is to provide technical support for the End User Technology environment doing break fix/maintaining servers and a range of IT equipmentincluding but not limited to laptops and desktops.
Package:
* Rates are negotiable. To be discussed during application* This role has been deemed InsideIR35.
* Mileage claimable after 50 miles @0.35ppm
* 3 months initial contract
* Mondayto Friday
* 9am - 5.30pm*
* Field based role
The role
* To repair diagnose and replace PC's, Laptops, Printers, Servers and retail equipment and associated peripherals.
* To perform desk side support
* Complete builds and configuration to desk
* Complete part moves and changes
* Will carry out AV repairs and Printer repairs.
* Will be able to carry out IMAC projects
* Communicate with Call Administration and the Branch throughout the day to effectively manage all call details real time and gain full understanding of the customer's SLA requirements.
* Utilise PDA to check and update allocated calls in a timely manner to achieve required commit time, and reflect actual work done in real time by way of accurate and quality updates.
*Be compliant with management system policies, company policies & guidelines and take responsibility for health & safetyin the workplace
* Be Familiar with customer policies and processes where applicable
* To be approachable and accepting of Training requirements in relation to the role.
* To maintain the skills and knowledge required to perform the role to the required standard
The candidate
* Knowledge of PC, Laptop, Printer & associated peripherals operation
* At least 3 yearsserver experience is required
* Ability to maintain and support server hardware with relevant manufacturer accreditation's (Dell/HP/Lenovo etc.)
* Ability to obtain security clearance
This contract has been deemed an inside IR35 role, therefore youwill need to be paid via umbrella company. The above rates are the umbrella company rates subject to weekly fee and deductions
