This new role we're recruiting for is a Data Engineer which is also known in other businesses as a Data/insights analyst which will help analyse, pull andinterpret data from multiple data sets and in turn present this data in a easy to read visual way via dashboards to help tell astory to the business and allow the business to make better and more strategic decisions based on the data shows. It will willalso be a fantastic opportunity to help improve the way we operate and work moving into the future as a business.



What you'll be doing

The HR & Future of Work Data Engineer supports the development and implementation of the HR data architecture, governance and data solutions, and is responsible for data management processes and automation, development of reports, dashboards and data models.

You will provide technical support, champion process improvement and automation, and work with HR and the business to translate high level requirements into meaningful data solutions.

You will also support in the development,delivery and maintenance of a compliant and robust HR data model, including the development of data models and applications tosupport analysis and insight.

What we're looking for

During the selection process we will be looking for the following blend of characteristics,

* A thirst for learning and a particular interest in data and insights.
* A keen interest in the concept of automating processes with data and how to connect various data sets.
* Mindset in this role is everything. We wouldlove someone who likes to innovate and who likes to step into unchartered territory.
* Knowledge of data protection, information governance and associated requirements.
* A good understanding of IT architecture as well as HR processes and how they interact with other services (e.g. finance / procurement)
* Experience and knowledge of data architecture and integration processes
* Experience and knowledge in designing and implementing complex data structures
* Knowledge and practical application ofdata tools and analysis. Experience in Alteryx, PowerBI, R, and Python is desirable
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Agile and flexible, capable of dealing with ambiguity, and confront challenges and opportunities with speed, endurance and decisiveness
* Ability to independently research, assess, interpret and validate data
* Ability to make connectionswith identified data patterns
* Effective communicator at various levels and including to non-HR community
* GDPR awarenessand sensitivity
