Information Management & Technology Project Manager
6-month contract - NHS Trust, Merseyside area
£267.47 per day
Hybrid Working

Overview:

My client is an NHS Trust based in Merseyside. They are currently seeking a Project manager to contribute to the delivery of the Trusts IM&T strategy and to plan, manage and implement a wide range of IM&T Projects across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide leadership, project and programme management
* organiseand ensure project governance structures set up and maintained.
* provide feedback, risk analysis, project status and detailsof emerging risks and issues that may impact strategic direction.
* Ensure that all projects are undertaken using NHS and Trust standards, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and Prince 2 Project Management methodology.
* plan and manage the deliveryof range of multifaceted IM&T programmes.
* To ensure that information governance requirements and patient impact assessments are undertaken.
* Manage virtual programme and project teams, using matrix management, to deliver project deliverables toagreed standards.
* manage project teams of varying size and make up using matrix management.
* Ensure all documentation andtraining is provided for successful hand over of the project deliverable to Business as Usual.

Teaching and Training responsibilities:

* Assist in the development of project managers and provide training to new starters.
* Ensure system and usertraining documentation is delivered for projects.
* Ensure an effective handover to the system manager and IT staff
* Maintain expert knowledge in a wide range of health-related systems and reporting tools.
* Keep abreast of Project and Programme Management best practice.
* Maintain an awareness of current and emerging technologies that may be beneficial to the Trust.
* Maintain an awareness of the national policies and initiatives
* Maintain an awareness of teaching methodologies and E learning.
* Maintain expert knowledge in a wide range of health-related systems and reporting tools.
