Now recruitinga Permanent Infrastructure Engineer for a superb organisation in Solihull with the choice of working in the office or fully remote.
This global Fintech corporate specialises in providing its worldwide customer base with industry leading systems, software & solutions, require an additional Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen their internal Managed Service Infrastructure team. The Infrastructure Engineer will be joining a team dedicated to ensuring their colleagues enjoy robust & reliable IT computing services across the business at all times.
The Infrastructure Engineer will have the option to work from their officein Solihull, work a hybrid week split between the office and home, OR can work fully remotely from anywhere within the UK if preferred!
The Infrastructure Engineer will work across Virtualisation, Cloud Platforms and the usual Windows Server applications, and will need to be comfortable working as part of a virtual team. Good communication skills and the drive to get things done are essential attributes that work well in this busy environment.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be joining a team of colleagues, passionate in delivering a superb IT service to the Business Units.

Responsibilities Will Include:
Working with a variety of hardware, software and applications to provide a prompt, friendly and professional service to the IT users in relation toinfrastructure engineering, systems administration, documentation & testing.
Planning and installation of new hardware,monitoring system uptime, ensuring high availability, resolving complex client related problems and designing and implementingall data centre and internal hosted computer systems.
Responsible for all functions relating to the installation, configuration and operation of the hosting infrastructure.
Identifying system configuration and/or performance irregularities. Developing procedures to respond to these irregularities in a timely manner.
Documenting and improving existing processes and procedures.
Serving as a technical resource by providing support to multiple projects and business units.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Windows Servers including Active Directory, GPO, ADFS, Domains, Permission Models etc
Virtualisation -VMware experience including implementation, administration and migration
Citrix XenApp
MS Exchange
NetApp - 3PAR storage covering implementation, administration and migration
SCCM, SolarWinds and WSUS
IT Security and Anti-virus solutions
