Interim Site Director
6-month contract - NHS Trust, Kent
£670 per day
Hybrid Working

Overview:
My client is an NHS Trust based in Kent. They are currently seeking a Site Director to on behalf of The Chief Operating Officer act as the Lead Director with specific responsibility to ensure the supportive and responsive day-to-day operational management of the hospital.Supporting the implementation of service delivery and development plans, together with plans for on-site developments.
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of agreed performance indicators in relation to clinical outcomes, clinical efficiency and service in reporting. Together with the Chief Operating Officer, the post-holder will develop a culture that facilitates partnerships and multi-professional care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* To be a designated MFT representative for system and Partnership working acting on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer organise and ensure project governance structures setup and maintained.
* To oversee the workforce planning, recruitment, selection and development of all staff within areas of responsibility.
* To support the Divisional Teams in identifying new opportunities for individual services with the Trust, arising from changes in the external environment or internal innovation.
* Identify any potential threats along with appropriate responses.
* To manage Trust resources in the most efficient and effective manner.
* Contribute to the translation of strategy and corporate objective, into action plans and budgets as part of the overall planning process.
* Working with the Chief Operating Officer to develop robust internal performance management systems which enable the Trust to adhere to or exceed nationalquality indicators, standards and targets.
* To ensure financial and budget requirements for areas of responsibility are met,including the delivery of any cost efficiency targets.
* To ensure the implementation of the Trust's Clinical Governance, Health and Safety and Risk Management policies and plans within areas of influence.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

* Masterslevel qualification or equivalent experience.
* Management qualification
* Track record of continuous professional and management development
* Understanding of the Health and Social care management environment and roles and responsibilities within it
* Ability to develop strategy for the health Economy
* Ability to assimilate & co-ordinate various agendas prioritising appropriately
* Performance management methodology
* Knowledge and awareness of: Patient First Methodology, National quality indicators, NHS Long term Plan, National Service Frameworks, Clinical Governance, Workforce development, Organisational Development methods.
* A strong understanding of all national standards for Emergency Care, RTT, Cancer and Diagnostics
* A detailed knowledge set regarding continuous improvement and QI methodology
* Understanding of current NHS National Policies and their impact on provision of health care
* Detailed knowledge of current acute Trust issues and the regulatory Framework for anacute Trust

Key Experience:

* Substantial leadership and operational management experience in an acute hospital
* Significant senior management experience within a complex service provider organisation
* Experience of managing clinical services.* Experience of and ability to manage complex operational situations that involve staff from all levels within the organisation and across a range of professional and organisational boundaries.
* Experience of leading and managing substantial servicechange and redesign in a complex environment.
* Experience of working with multi-agency committees and establishing relationships with external organisations.
* Demonstrably track record of achievement of performance management improvement and deliveryat a senior management level.
