£35,000- £45,000 + benefits
Remote role - Occasional travel to Birminghamor Godalming Office (1-2 times a month)
I am looking for an IT Back-up and Storage Analyst to join this fantastic team of back-up specialists at this Birmingham-based IT managed services provider (MSP). This client has been providing brilliant serviceto its customers for over 35 years.
As an IT Back-up and Storage Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring data back-ups are maintained and controlled, and data storage is monitored and available. You will also ensure that internal and externalprocesses and procedures are adhered to with regards to data availability, restoration and protection.
Requirements:* Exposure to some of: IBM, TSM (Tivoli), Commvault, Veeam, Dell, EMC
* Experience working in a Service Desk/ Support environment
* Exposure and understanding IT principles and technologies
* Strong customer Service skills
* Knowledge of industryback-up and recovery technologies
