Description:
Concept Resourcing are currently looking to recruit an Experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer within/ commutable to Central London.
The purpose of the role is toprovide desk-side support to the end users on-site. This will involve support across both the hardware and software estate alongwith system administration.
Package information:
* 9:00am - 17:30pm*
* Monday to Friday throughout duration of contract
* Contract will start WC 26th June and will be for circa 2 months in duration.
* £200 per day payable via umbrella (insideIR35)
The Role:
Will involve the following tasks:
* Logging and managing Incident Tickets via service management system
* Resolving Incident Tickets within agreed SLA from start to end
* Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure fulfilment of contractual SLAs
* Providing hands on technical experience with hardware and software services
* To own end to end Incident and queue management
* To contribute to Major Incident and emergency response for client site specific services
*Contribute to escalated problem resolution by providing smart hands support to the business upon request to assist with restoration of services
* To create, review and update Knowledge Base articles and local site documentation, processes, and procedures
* To provide technical troubleshooting under the guidance of 3rd line resolver groups for technologies such as Infrastructure devices, Network devices, and Communication Services · To be responsible for hardware asset management, stock control and regular audits, including the allocation of new starter equipment and updating Configuration Management Database.
* To deliver support for the IT on site infrastructure, including Wi-Fi and LAN access, Voice and Video Conferencing, Meeting Room Booking Systems, for audio visual conference calls meetings plus the integration of MS Teams meetings and Cisco Webex, Zoom calls and print solutions ·
The Candidate:
MUST have a minimum of 1-3 years' employment experience within an IT support role and be able to:* Support client systems, service and computer equipment.
* Be confident with utilizing data and settings migration, imaging, application installation, and technologies.
* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions.
* Understand end user requirements relating to the customers IT infrastructure
* ITIL Foundation - Desirable.
*Demonstrate good organisation skills and methodical approaches with good attention to detail.
* Possess technical knowledge of; Windows 7/8/10/11, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange and ServiceNow
* Provide the client with high levels ofcustomer service and have a proven background in doing so.
