Description:
Field Service Engineer - IT Hardware
We are currently seeking Field Service Engineers to join our team in various locations including Belfast,Essex, London, Greater Manchester, and Stoke. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in IT hardware support and possess the necessary skills to diagnose and repair technical issues on a variety of IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Travel to customer sites to provide IT support services for a range of IT equipment.
* Perform installations, troubleshooting,and repairs on PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, peripherals, and point of sales systems.
* Obtain and maintain vendor certifications as required.
* Follow documented procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
* Adhere to safety and ESD precautions.
* Complete all relevant documentation in a timely manner.
* Participate in the on-call rota as needed.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
* Experience with installing, troubleshooting, and fixing hardware devices.
* Ability to install and configure software.
* Hold relevant vendor certifications such as Dell, Lenovo, IBM, and HP
* Good understanding of hardware maintenance and break-fix
* Hold a full UK Driving Licence
* Essential to obtain/hold UK security clearances such as SC.

* Physical strength and dexterity to carry IT equipment.Salary:
* Competitive salary range: £27,000 - £29,000
* 1 week in 4 on call (circa: £3,000 on top)
* 25 Days Holiday +Bank Holidays
* Pension plan: 5% Matched for 2 years, 7% Matched after
* Overtime pay: Time and a half (except Bank Holiday), Double Time on Bank Holiday
