IT Support Engineer - Gateshead - £20,000 - £25,000

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the initial point of contact for inquiries from contractual clients, adeptly gathering essential issue information.
* Evaluate incidents during customer interactions, aiming to identify root causes and execute first-time fixes whenever possible.
* Embody the voice of our client by delivering exceptional customer service.
* Provide continuous support through clear and concise verbal and written communication.
* Log support tickets and escalate pertinent matters to second and third-line support when needed.
* Maintain adherence to service level agreements across telephone and email support channels.
*Proactively respond to system alerts and engage in general operational activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
*Solid proficiency in Windows 10 and 11; familiarity with Apple OS is advantageous.
* Microsoft accreditations are a plus.
*Familiarity with the O365 ecosystem and Cloud technology.
* Capability to set up users, including Active Directory and O365 configurations.
* Knowledge of VOIP and telephony is beneficial but not essential.
* Eagerness to learn, adapt, and conquer new challenges.
* Fundamental understanding of ITIL Framework principles.
