Overview:
The IT Project Manager isresponsible for managing all project workstreams within the agreed timeframes and budget to provide successful outcomes and benefits realisation. The project is now in the delivery phase, with a focus on implementation planning and managing/controlling stages.
My client is currently implementing a new Pathology Laboratory Information System, WinPath Enterprise from CliniSys, across its hospital sites. The new system replaces the two existing LIMS solutions. The project involves the configuration of new IT and management information systems, interfacing to existing IT systems and Pathology analysers, and data migration and data archiving. It is also extending the ICE order communications system across both sites.
You will be reporting to the LIMS Programme Director and working in conjunction with subject matter experts from suppliers and the Trust,
Key Experiences:
* Havesignificant experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in an NHS/Pathology setting, preferably with ICE order communications and WinPath Enterprise LIMS experience;
* Work with Suppliers and Trust workstream leads to keep the project plan up to date, and ensure that project activities are completed on time;
* Work with stakeholders within Pathology (Clinical/Service/Transformation/Build leads); outside of Pathology (IM&T, Information Services, IG); suppliers; and stakeholder organisations external to the Trust to ensure successful project outcomes;
* Use the project structure to escalate deviations from the plan or any project issues in order to highlight problems, and suggest resolutions at the earliest opportunity;
* Work with the projectteam to keep all project control documentation up to date;
* Provide project reports as required by the LIMS Programme Director.
