Description:
Concept Resourcing are currently recruiting Junior 1st Line Support Engineers based in/ commutable to Newark, Nottinghamshire.
The purpose of the role isto support IT project activity within the field via a centralised helpdesk.
Our client specialise in enabling change for their customers so that they can operate and transform effectively and within a timely manner.
Contract Duration: 2 months withpossible extension
Start date: 25/07/2022
Rate information:
* £145.00 - £160.00 per day via umbrella (inside IR35)
*Rate dependent upon experience.
* Monday to Friday throughout duration of contract
* 9.00am - 17.30pm* subject to variation* Site based opportunity
* Use of own vehicle required to get to and from place of work
* Possibility of extension
TheRole:
* Respond to calls and emails, carrying out trouble shooting, fault diagnosis, call vetting and technical support toprovide 1st line ticket resolution or escalation
* Following a script based diagnosis procedure
* Provide a point of technical escalation and expertise.
* Identify and apply the correct priority, service level agreement and category whilst capturinga full detailed description of the issue.
* Assign and escalate tickets to 2nd line support where tickets cannot be resolvedon a first-line fix basis.
* Proactively monitor, review and chase outstanding tickets to ensure they are responded to promptly and follow the correct contracted service levels.
* Maintain high standards of customer service at all times to encourage anexcellent customer experience.
The Candidate:
* Strong 1st line working experience
* Good knowledge of IT platforms, equipment and applications.
* Proven Customer service skills
* Up to 12 months' experience as an analyst within a similar environment
* Industry recognised qualifications in relevant area is desirable (i.e. MCP)
* Up to 12 months remote support experience of
* Windows Operating Systems (Essential)
* Hardware troubleshooting of both desktop and server hardware. (Desirable)
* Knowledge of supporting various windows applications including MS Office from end user perspective (Desirable)
* Experience of working to SLAs and KPIs and to be able to accurately describe their purpose is desirable.
* Adaptable & flexible
* Good time management and prioritisation skills
* Good problem resolution skills
This contract has been deemed an inside IR35 role, therefore you will need to be paid via umbrella company. the above rates are the umbrella company rates subjectto weekly fees and deductions.
