Description:
Manual Tester, QA - ﾃつ｣27k-ﾃつ｣38k - Mainly remote - 1 day per week in Peterborough.
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Manual Testerto join the QA/Test team of this Technology solutions provider, working with clients globally in both the private and public sectors.
Your role will involve working closely with the development and product teams on maintaining quality by identifying errors, bugs, performance and reliability.
You will drive QA and Test across the company to support the full range of systems and products, you will test at all phases, creating supporting documentation, creating manual test scripts and delivering all testactivities throughout the development life-cycle.
Your role:
* Delivering test activities throughout each phase, improving QA productivity.
* Providing continuous testing from development through to release.
* Creating and maintaining the testcases and supporting documentation.
* Documenting defects, writing test cases and test plans.
We need you to have:* Solid experience in Manual testing.
* Able to identify the cause of defects and document them.
* Knowledge of the full software development life-cycle.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Ability to work with technical and non technical teams.
Nice to have, but not essential:
* Experience of Microsoft CSP Program
* Awareness of Azure DevOps
* Experience with Cloud platforms
* Experience of working in an Agile environment.
