Responsibilities:
* Provide pre and post installation support to the field-based teams
Ownership to resolution of 2nd line escalated tickets
* Assist and support our desk based Technical Support teams (1st line) on complex incidents
* Perform pre-installation configuration and testing and offer pre-sales support when required
* Work closely withbusiness partners and customers to resolve complex technical queries
* Deliver a first-class customer experience in line withour ITIL procedures
* Desk based role
* Network monitoring
* Mentoring and support of first-line teams.
* Able to perform occasional out-of-hours changes to customer networks.
* Remote assistance for on-site engineers; verification of new circuits, fail-over solutions, fault diagnosis.
* Working with suppliers in fault resolution.
* Monitoring of network health metrics.
Requirements (Desirable)
* TCP/IP, routing, switching
Solid operational experience of BGP, OSPF, HSRP, PVST
* Experience with Fortinet and Cisco Firewall products
* QoS policies
* MPLS Core network with Broadband and Ethernet services
*Load Balancing & Content Switching
* Network monitoring
* Experience in a similar role with ISP's / MSP's
* Experience of Meraki products and support
* Qualified to CCNA (R&S)
* ITIL qualification
* NSE4-7/CCNP/JNCIA/CCNA Security/CMNAor equivalent
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High standard of customer care and experience
* Self-confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic
* Creative and innovative
* Flexible and adaptable
* Excellent work ethic / results orientated
* Energetic and passionate with a keenness to progress and develop

Other:
* Valid Full UK driving license
* Expectation to undertake UK travel to meet business needs* Comfortable with some unsocial working hours e.g. when travelling
