Role:
Concept is hiring for a NOC Analyst to be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of both our clients and their clients' IT infrastructures. This will involve proactively monitoring for faults or other issues.
This role will offer great progression and training options in both networking and infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to:
VMware
Veeam
Fortinet
Aruba
Meraki
Windows
Microsoftstack
PRTG
Duties:
* Monitor PRTG/SDP for alerts as well as tickets, ensuring they are acted upon in line with SLA's
* Backups - Resolving faults and performing restores
* Problems
* Proactives
* Projects
* TroubleshootingTechnical exposure:
* Monitor PRTG/SDP for alerts and auto-generated tickets, ensuring they are acted upon within Service Level Agreements.
* Managing Backups - Resolving faults and performing restores.
* Involvement in Problems/Proactive Assessments and Project based assignments.
* Proactively monitoring our internal and customer infrastructures using the company's monitoring tools. These will include the following types of devices and systems: Routers, Switches, Firewalls.etc
* Categorising and prioritising incidents based on operational impact and urgency in line with ITIL methodology.
* Responding to incidentsidentified by our monitoring systems, triaging reported issues and resolving them, escalating them where necessary.
* Identifying and reporting on recurring incidents to facilitate problem management.
* Remotely troubleshooting network connections in aLAN, WAN and WLAN environments.
* Escalation point for NOC Analysts on network and/or infrastructure incidents.
* Liaisingwith Third-Party Suppliers where necessary to resolve faults.
* Maintaining and updating internal documentation.
* Assistingwith training and monitoring of junior team members
* Provisioning network services; VPNs, Wireless
