JOB TITLE: Pre-sales Consultant
Salary: £70,000 + car scheme £5000 + bonus £10,000
Location: London - Remote and Hybridbased
Are you a pre-sales consultant who combines strong technical skills with an ability to create design artefacts that meet challenging customer requirements? The Role:
You will join our existing Hybrid Infrastructure practice. The practice delivers typical data centre infrastructure, including virtualised servers, storage, data protection and DR solutions and managed services. You will be responsible for expanding the existing skill base into modern software-defined networks and automation utilising the VMware portfolio of solutions.
In addition, they will work closely with the Solution Owners to produce design documentation on a wide variety of on-premise hybrid and potentially cloud-based solutions, whichvary in size and complexity. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will be focused on providing better, faster, more cost-effective solutions.
Desired Skills:
* To be the subject matter expert for VMware solution design within the Hybrid Infra Structure practice. (Vmware can be taught through our training programme, if you already have good networking experience)
* Provide day-to-day support to the Sales Teams and Project Managers to deliver the required VMware designs during the sales process.
* Attend customer meetings and be the consultative expert, gathering requirements, creating proposals and presenting solutions.
* Support the Data Centre and Security practices in defining designs according to requirements.
* Provenpresales experience in an IT Services or Consultancy organisation, including delivery of RFI, RFP and bid responses.
* Ideally, strong technical skills with core VMware solutions - vSphere, vRealize SRM, VSAN, NSX, Virtual Hardware etc.
