Concept IT are looking for a Principle Network Consultant to join a well-established and growing IT solutions organization.
This role is to be the most senior technical resource to consult, design, plan and implement complex technical projects.
This will involve technical presentations, solution demonstrations, solution design, proposals and HLD LLD.
Job Overview
* To act as the most senior technicalresource in the department.
* To be the most senior technical resource in the department to resolve/deliver complex projects* Be an expert in the required Technologies for your section. Create and deliver: technical presentations, solution demonstrations, solution design/configuration, and proposal development
* To continually keep abreast of emerging technologies and aim to work within the team and wider teams to highlight and utilise these in the most effective way, delivering value for Vohkus andour customers.
* Acts as a mentor and technical escalation point in all areas where they are considered a subject matter expert, providing expert-level knowledge and peer-level review in respect of issue resolution, standards, design, best practice, delivering quality and reference target architectures.
* Working closely with all internal and external teams as required and Customers.
* Design and Deliver implementation services across a wide range of clients, technologies and requirements.
* Creation of technical documentation
* High Level Designs
* Low Level Designs
* Diagrams, BoM
* Statement of Works (SoW)* Design, implementation, migration and testing of best practice solutions
* Creation and presentation of customer facing documentation
* Involvement and running of project design workshops
* Renew/upgrade certifications
* Works with clients on assigned projects to identify commercially viable, technical, solutions to business problems and streamlining of business process.* Accountable as a lead technical role in one or more projects on which they are assigned, ensuring that solutions are thoroughly captured in a Statement of Work or Project Initiation Document, analysed, designed and delivered to recognised industry best practices.
* Manages one or more teams of consultants assigned to projects, for the duration of a project.
Technical Requirements
Essential:
* CCIE or CCNP Certified
* Fortinet NSE.
Desirable:
* Meraki Solutions Specialist.
* VMware VCP-NV (2020); VCAP-NV(Deploy) (2020).
* AWS and Azure associate-level accreditations.
* Proven track record with: Cisco Networking and Switching / ACI / SDA / DNAC / Meraki Networking & Switching / HPE Aruba / Nexus Family range (configuration & troubleshooting) / Security with Cisco ISE, ASA and Firepower.
* Demonstrable exposure to NSX design and implementation and Cloud security with thorough understanding in UCS/ Hyperflex.
* Ideally worked with Checkpoint, Juniper and Palo Alto.Salary on offer is £70,000 - £100,000 + benefits
