Position: Project Manager
Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site in Telford
Contract Length: 6 months (potential for extension)
Rate: Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of critical projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires a proactive individual who excels at managing complex projects with limited direction, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring financial and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Delivery Management: Lead the assessment and delivery of new project requirements, ensuring alignment with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and timelines.
* Relationship Management: Own the project/programme relationship, agree on delivery milestones, and manage escalationswith senior stakeholders.
* Delivery Planning: Create and maintain delivery plans, ensuring timely updates for both new and in-progress projects to meet key milestones, including development, testing, and production readiness.
* Backlog and Prioritisation: Work with Product Managers to prioritise and manage project backlogs, ensuring milestones are planned and delivered effectively.
* Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly progress updates, including:
* Risks, Issues, and Dependencies reporting* Backlog and RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status updates with clear paths to green
* Stakeholder Engagement: Attend reporting meetings, represent the delivery function, and provide clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders.
* Financial Oversight:Manage financial forecasting, budget approvals, cost-to-complete analysis, and overall budget responsibility for assigned project portfolios.
* Continuous Improvement: Champion process improvements, lessons learned, and Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs)to drive better ways of working across the delivery team.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience leadingcomplex projects with minimal support.
* Strong knowledge of delivery planning, backlog management, and agile methodologies.* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of seniority.
* Demonstrable expertise in financial management, including forecasting and budget control.
* A track recordof delivering results in high-pressure environments.
