Android/iOS Developer
Remote with occasional travel to Newcastle for Adhoc meetings

We are looking for a skilled Android/iOS Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality mobile applications for the public sector. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize mobile applications that meet user needs and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:1 Develop, test, and deploy Android/iOS applications in collaboration with the development team.
2 Implement intuitive user interfaces, integrate APIs, and deliver new features as required.
3 Configure and implement Firebase Messaging for real-time notifications.
4 Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
5 Manage source codeusing GitHub and follow CI/CD workflows with Bitrise.
6 Debug, test, and optimize applications for improved performance and reliability.
7 Work closely with Tech Leads, QA engineers, and other developers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
For Android Development:
* Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
* Hands-on experience with Firebase Messaging and Android SDK.
For iOS Development:
* Strong knowledge of Swift, with familiarity in SwiftUI.
* Experience with Firebase Messaging and app lifecycle management.
General Requirements:
* Proficiency in GitHub for source code management.
* Basic experience with Bitrise CI/CD pipelines for build automation.
* Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in team-based environments.
* Prior experience developing applications for the public sector.
