Overview:
My client is an NHS Trust based in West Bromwich. As a key member of the Project Team, you will be responsible for supporting the deployment of Primary Care Digital Projects. You will be required to support the senior specialist in delivering projects successfully, and you will play a pivotal role in the success of these projects.
You will be required to work flexibly across the Black Country and West Birmingham area and wider area as required.

* GPs and Practice-based clinical and non-clinical staff (including practice managers)
* Primary Care Networks
* External suppliers
* Internal Staff across the department
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist the Project Managers within the department and apply specialist knowledge to give guidance and support to the delivery of the digital Programme. You will:
* co-ordinate and plan individual implementation activities including issues and risks management. Managing the formulationand adjustment of activity plans as required during the deployment of the specific digital projects
* Provide a lead implementation role in both national and local digital projects
* Ensure that end users are supported throughout the implementation ofdigital projects.
* Responsible for maintaining information systems
* Utilises appropriate project methodology and softwareto plan, control, co-ordinate, monitor and deliver a number of deployments
* Works closely with staff in other departments/organisations, both NHS and external, to ensure that activities are completed in line with project timescales.
* There is a requirement for this role to spend prolonged periods at a VDU.
* Communicates technical and controversial information relating tothe project to a mixed audience
* Identify, assess and manage risks and issues in relation to system implementations over a number of deployments
Skills and Experience:
* Substantial experience in an IT environment
* A working knowledge of General Practice and/or Community services.
* Experience of working as part of a project team, developing and implementing digitaland Primary Care Projects using a Project Management methodology such as Prince2
* Experience of testing and implementing modules or enhancements to information systems.
* Good working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project.
* The ability to make individual judgements when presented with complex situations without reference to a manager.
*The ability to concentrate for long periods of time, work under pressure, with frequent disruptions, within tight time constraints, with constantly changing timescales and with minimal supervision.
