Role: Service Desk Analyst
Location: Blackburn (hybrid)
Salary: £20,000

We're looking for aspiring techies to join abrilliant Technology Services provider, who will train, support and develop you. The role is based in our clients Blackburn office, working 37.5 hours per week, doing shifts between 8am-7pm. You will be key to supporting our clients customer base primarilyfocused on inbound activities such as taking customer phone calls and managing our mailbox.
Key Responsibilities
*Ticket logging and classification
* Ensure the accuracy of all tickets logged to ensure appropriate engineer allocation at thenext stage of the process.
* Ensure that all information is captured within the ticket using agreed templates.
* Proactiveupdate to customers
* If a customer has requested an update, ensure that this is delivered back in a timely manner.
* Completion of low complexity tasks - handset replacements, toner orders, cordless handset faults and registrations
* Management of tickets needing internal involvement - incident; problem and change.
* Provide an appropriate update to the customer and prepare for handover to your line manager should a level 2 escalation be required
Person Specification
* Customer Serviceexperience (1 year)
* Basic technical knowledge - ideally holds an IT related qualification or has a large interest and wouldlike to start a career in IT

Preferred* An understanding ofITIL service management. Including:
