Description:
On behalf of a Global IT Professional Services business, I am lookingfor a Service Desk Supervisor who has proven people management experience, to support a large team of 1st Line Support IT Analysts. You will be a self-starter, with a hit-the-ground-running attitude.
Location: Peterborough (Monday-Friday)
IR35 Status: Inside
3-6 Month Contract with the opportunity to become a permanent employee
The Role:
* Support a team of servicedesk analysts, and assist the Team Leaders and other supervisors in their responsibilities.
* Ensure process, procedural, andcontractual agreements are being followed correctly by the team.
* You will be responsible for monthly performance one to ones& Ad-hoc catch ups with all analysts.
* Contribute to developing and coaching analysts to improve performance and delivery of service.
* Conduct training sessions.
Skills/Experience required:
* Proven people management experience is absolutely essential for this role.
* Previous coaching & development experience.
* You will be expected to have a strongknowledge and awareness of various matters such as welfare, conduct/capabilities issues in line with HR procedures.
* You willdemonstrate a real passion for leading individuals to deliver excellence through continuous development and improvement.
* You will be patient, tolerant and supportive.
* A driven, motivational, professional team member, with a 'can-do' attitude at all times.
* Excellent communication skills are really important.
* Strong organisational skills.
