Soluton Architect Responsibilities
* Design technical services or plan system integration, selecting necessary platforms and technologies to meet projectrequirements and user needs
* Provide technical leadership and consultancy to both internal and external development teams, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, whilst meeting time and budget restraints
* Build and maintain technical roadmaps, looking ahead for future opportunities or blockers and ensuring decisions by development teams align with the strategy
* Involvement in the wider development community, identifying good practices to adopt and sharing your experiences, e.g. through blog posts,tech talks at conferences
* Enable a positive technical culture, applying agile methods to development and completing qualityassurance practices
* Plan the migration, and assisting in the execution of the migration
* Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, functional requirements, and scenarios to produce high quality Solution Designs that meet the business requirements
* Own the Design and document the future state configurations (HLD, LLD), obtain buy in from customers and stakeholders* Work with vendors and 3rd party providers to ensure that the architecture is delivered to CUSTOMER's requirements and as part of a holistic solution
* Identify architectural patterns, and apply industry standard best practice to deliver high quality,robust and flexible designs
* Design solutions to meet non-functional requirements, ensuring that performance, scalability, resilience, and service availability are designed in from the outset.
* Ensure that solution design meets the operation requirements for monitoring, management, and on-going maintenance in an agile, continuous delivery environment
Solutions ArchitectKnowledge & Skills:
* Demonstrable experience leading technical teams and delivering user-focused services
* Strong software development and application architecture experience, with good knowledge of open source technologies, cloud and web, testing
* Experience of Application Migration and Transformation
* Experience in defining high quality Solution Architecture designs, and gaining approval for such designs in a complex stakeholder environment
* Experience working in agile teams, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Dev-Ops.
* Stakeholder management including senior stakeholders, 3rd party partnersand standards organizations
* Defining transition plans and roadmaps for complex and large-scale transformation programs
*Experience leading technical teams and delivering user-focused services
* Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
* Experience scaling online services
* Understand how to prioritise work in a fast, customer-centric environment
* Understand howto influence senior management and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
Solution Architect DesirableSkills:
* Experience initiating projects, participating in workshops to gather user needs and building prototypes
* Experience of working with external standards organisations
* A view of technology as an enabler of great digital services
* Eagerness to influence how digital services are delivered
* Awareness of how to budget in an on-demand environment and an understanding of legal implications
* Experience of cloud technologies, enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools
* Experience designing and implementing secure systems
* Experience mentoring technical staff and managing stakeholders
* Experience working in a dynamic organisation with rapidly expanding users and changing requirements
* Interestin forming best practices, standards and policies
* Willingness to travel to client locations
