Role: Solution Architect - X86 virtualised Wintel/Lintel
Salary: £70,000

* The Solution Architect is responsible for supporting the sales team in providing IT managed services and solution support to the client.
* Experienced as a Solutions Architect in dealing with Multi-Platform and Complex IT Infrastructure solutions to address the client needs, with a focus in virtualised Wintel/Lintel environments.
The primary job responsibilities include:
* Design of new and transitioned Managed Service Environments
* Guiding customers towards the most suitablesolution for their requirements
* Aiding the sales team in opportunity development
* Design collaboration with other SA'sSkills and Experience:
* Experience (3 years minimum) of building and costing Managed Services solutions. Technology, colocation, implementation, in life services and associated transition process and SLA's
* Understand X86 Compute, Network, Storage and associated operating systems, virtualisation, associated private cloud and multitenant compute. Examples include VMWare, Veeam, IBM Storage, Microsoft SPLA & CSP.
* Hybrid Virtual Data Centre solutions
* As a consultant within our Cloud and Infrastructure team you will use your knowledge of cloud-based solutions with Microsoft Azure and IBM Cloud (VS/Classic Softlayer)
