Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sound Technician/Sound Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality audio for live performances, presentations, and other event activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate sound equipment for live events, includingmicrophones, speakers, and mixing consoles.
* Conduct sound checks and adjust settings for optimal audio quality.
* Monitoraudio levels and troubleshoot any sound issues during the event.
* Coordinate with performers, presenters, and other event staff to meet audio requirements.
* Maintain and transport sound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
* Ensurecompliance with safety regulations and event protocols.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Sound Technician/SoundEngineer, preferably in live event settings.
* Proficient in using various audio equipment and sound engineering software.
*Strong understanding of audio signal flow and acoustics.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Abilityto work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:* Knowledge of wireless microphone systems and frequency coordination.
* Experience with digital mixing consoles.
* Familiarity with audio recording techniques.
Working Conditions:
* Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending onthe event schedule.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
