My Client are an NHS Trust based in the West Midlands and are seeking an Technical Services Security Officer on an initial 12 month contract basis (37.5 Hours) Paying £267 per day (Inside IR35).
Job Summary
To support the ongoing cyber initiative to defend against malicious access to Trust data assets by remediating vulnerabilities identified on computing assets including servers and workstations.
This role is vital to maintain productivity whilst minimising the 'attack surface' of unauthorised use.
The responsibilities will include the following:
* To use a number of data sources and discovery tools to identify security vulnerabilities with hardware, firmware and software on any Trust computing asset.
* To liaise with any Cyber Security professionals both within the department and external contracted consultants
* To compile and risk assess identified vulnerabilities
* To liaise with system asset owners and/or stakeholders to assess any productivity impact to co-ordinate any maintenance windows.
* To remediate by patching or updating or changing configuration.
* To report on progress and overall risk scores
