Description:
A BRAND-NEW opportunity for an Channel Account Director role focused on supporting a number of set channel partners consisting of System Integrators and MSPs.
As an Channel Account Director you will support, manage, and develop named partner accounts. To bethe main customer contact and facilitator for service escalations and development of communication strategy within allocated accounts.
To generate and develop pipeline by working closely with customers, prospects, internal teams, and our vendor partners. The Channel Manager will hold accountability for sales and service satisfaction and the development, growth, and commercial success of a defined account base. The Channel Manager will ensure the retention of existing accounts and development of new revenue opportunities from within the core product portfolio.
Responsibilities of the Channel Account Director
* Financial responsibility for retention targets, increasing sales revenue and gross profit via incremental business.
* Responsible for managing all sales management application
* Supporting named account base.
* Generating profitable business within portfolio.
*Work to agreed activity KPIs and customer engagement metrics.
* Liaise with vendor direct-touch account managers to best effect on pipeline and account development.
* Ensuring customer retention, growth, and profitability
* Maintain & maximise the business pipeline.
* Managing customer escalations.
* Accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
Experience Requirements Channel Account Director
* Experience managing and developing Partner opportunities
* Familiar with government procurement frameworks
* A Solution Sales professional, proficient in the Unified Communications arena
* Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and produce first class complex bid and tender responses
* An ability to understand the needs of potentialcustomers
* A clear and confident presentation style
* The ability to negotiate complex contracts to a satisfactory conclusion
* Demonstrate the capacity and confidence to relate at Senior Management level within target customers
